A photographer buys a couple of cameras, builds a box to put them in, and ties a balloon to the box. He then lets it go. The simple idea of a regular guy produces some amazing photos of Earth from miles into the atmosphere. Would you even consider such an endeavor? Why hasn't someone thought of this before?
Wow. thats cool, but wouldn't the stuff burn up on the way down? Alot of this doesn't seem to make sense. MAybe you can exlplain in class?

That guy is one smart guy. Now that i think of it, its actually really easy to think of but nobody ever thought to put baloons with a camera up into the atmosphere. That is really interesting.
ReplyDeletehow did he get the photos from the camera? where they sent from the camera? If so how were they able to come from space without some form of internet? Did he just get the camera to land by him?

ReplyDeleteI think the reason why people dont think of these simple ideas is because its too simple. People like to overcomplicate things and do things the hard way. These "too" simple ideas usually slip out of our heads. : )

This is pretty cool, but wouldn't the pressure crush or damage the cameras? Wouldn't the balloons lose air at that point? Where would the box land?
