The world is filled with wonderous variety. There must be a reason to have a see through head.
This fish was has never really been seen before. Scientists would find pieces of it floating on top of the water. It needs several layers of pressure to keep alive. It is only until scientists were able to put video cameras on the ocean floor that we were able to see one of these rare creatures alive in its natural habitat.

ReplyDeletethe fish is really cool! its also a little weird (see-through head???), but mostly its interesting to see an actual animal like that. and a living one, at that.

OMG WOW that is so cool the is assume i wish i had a see threw head it would be cool to see my brain and that thing had the 2 weird green balls in his cranium cavity.

o wow. I though it nostrils were its eyes. How'd they find this fish
ReplyDeleteIs it possible, that we could capture one and ( of course, quickly) bring to the surface and attempt to keep it under the nescesary pressure? Or is it so far physically impossible. It seems so by the way it swam oout of that trap thingy in the video. Can we touch on this in class
ReplyDeleteit would be a lot cuter if its eyes were in the place where its nostrils are. did they take it to the surface, or did they just take pictures of it, because it seems like a fish living that far down wouldn't be able to survive in an aquarium on the surface.
