Christian the Lion was taken out of a zoo when he was a few weeks old and was used as part of an advertisement for a company. After a while, Christian went to live with 2 men who were trying to rehabilitate him and were hoping to help release him back into the wild. He was with them for around 2 years. When Christian got too big to stay in the house, the two men took him to a lion sanctuary in Africa where he would be trained to be a wild lion and then hopefully released back into the wild. Christian had lived in a house most of his life and had no way of knowing how to hunt, find water, or otherwise take care of himself in the wild. The two men left him there and hoped for the best. After a year, the two men missed Christian and went back to Africa to visit with him. Hmmm.... a lion that had been training to be a wild lion for a year and two men meet on the African Savannah. This video is so sweet and kind. I believe it allows us to see how wonderful an animal's memory can be and how capable they really are at feeling emotions. A little while I read about a story similar to this where a woman had a chimpanzee she loved him and cared for him but soon he got too big to keep around the house. She sent him to an island where she thought that he would soon learn to become wild and fend for himself. However, the place wasn't all it was cut out to be and he became very homesick. The woman did not give up. She bought an island for only the chimpanzies who had been living in captivity. After some adjustment her chimp began to thrive and when she returned ten years later he greeted her with a hug just as the lion did in the video.

OMG! That is soo cuteeeee!! I almost strted crying when i saw the reunion part! AHHHH omg thats adorable!!!!!!!!! I love how the lion was like hugging them when he saw them! It soo cuteee!!!! :)
